Surface and the Deepest Depths (5)

SKU: AUN-3168 Categories: ,
Description

In 2012 and 2015, Vladimirsky visited her grandparents in the Ukrainian city of Siversk in the Donbass region. During these visits, she photographed their home and her family.
When the Russia-Ukrainian war broke out in 2022, her grandmother fled. With the area under severe attack, the house abandoned and its condition unknown, Vladimirsky re-photographed the images of this distant place, emphasizing the Israeli local light, tying memories of her childhood home (of which the image may be the last remnant) and the present, while bidding it farewell.
